I missed out my chance to buy a cheaper one when I went to Hong Kong for holiday. At that time I kept telling myself that I shouldn’t spend too much.

A few months later, I couldn’t resist anymore. It took me 1 week to decide which camera model to buy.

And… Ta-daaah!!!

Socializing is supposed to make someone happier, but arranging the gathering with people with different schedules (and characters) can be even more stressful.

At some moment, I prefer to avoid meeting human and enjoy my home alone days to do my own activities, e.g.

* Reading books…

* Playing games…

* Cooking/baking…

* Reading news…

* And just recently I tried this one:

I started to do nail polishing when I was waiting for my Final Year Project program to finish compiling. The waiting time was just nice to let my nail polish dry. However, I usually only put single color for each nail.

With the help from Youtube, I searched some “tutorial” video about nail arts for beginner

I haven’t specially bought any tools for extensive nail art method yet. I just used whatever I have currently. It seems to be a potential new hobby for me although it is not very tidy yet.

I guess I enjoy it…

Oh yeah, although I said I avoided human, but I still did some chatting with my beloved family. That is another thing that keep me sane.

Colleague : lunch at the other office building?

Me: Errrm, I’d just go downstairs and get my lunch there…

Colleague: Why?

Me: I forgot to apply my sunblock today. I don’t feel like going out from our office building…

Colleague: =___=”

Colleague 1: I think tanned girl looks nicer…

Me: Errr… I still prefer to be fair

Colleague 1: What do you think?

Colleague2: Haha… sorry, I think fair girl is better

Me: (smiling happily)

Colleague1: so you are the type of girl who applies sunblock before you go out?

Me: Yes! Hahaha…

Colleague1: OMG!!!

Colleague2: Actually it is okay…

Me: (Smiling again and tell myself: Thank goodness I have a supporter)

I have been applying sunblock daily for many years. The main reason is to maintain my fair skin. I am an Asian girl and I don’t like to be tanned. Although some people say being tanned is cool, I disagree with that– at least it is my own preference. I am not the fairest girl in my family, I shall not make myself even darker. I admit that somehow I envy the flawless and fair skin that belongs to some of my cousins.

I don’t like to use whitening product as I don’t believe that it is safe for daily use. Hence, I prefer to maintain my current skin tone instead of making it whiter artificially.

Since I move to Singapore, I go out from house more often. And there comes the second reason, I don’t want the scorching hot sun delivers UV Rays and let them penetrate below my dermis and start messing around with my skin’s cellular DNA. Hence, I don’t mind spending extra money for buying sunblock to protect my entire body. I would rather save up in other things, e.g. staying in the library for the whole day to avoid buying textbook ;p.

For these two reasons, I use L’oreal Foundation with SPF 36+++ for my face. I don’t apply make up, but I buy this for sunblock purpose. I know some people say it is weird. I have tried using the lotion-like sunblock on my face. The result was pimples started to grow on my face. Besides that, I also use Neutrogena dry touch sunblock SPF50+ for any other parts of my skin that are exposed directly to sun.

Waiting for the batter to set, before oven…

As I decided to go home before the alumni night ended, I came back to the shop with my friend. I was still in doubt that this blue alien soft toy would be able to soothe my feeling. In my mind, it looked like a scary monster instead. My friend said, “looks cute actually…” I eventually took my NETS card and paid for it.

I brought it to office on the next day. I put it right behind my monitor with his face staring at me so that when my eyes were tired looking at the screen, I could tilt my head to see something else. I told myself that it didn’t seem to be scary as what i thought in the beginning. It just had weird shape and didn’t look like a normal animal soft toys that I had at home. The color doesn’t really look like the one in the movie also – with pink color ears. Mine is blue. The backside of the head doesn’t have the dark blue marking as well. I told myself, well, made in China 偷工减料. I shouldn’t complaint too much, it was only SGD 16.90. At that time, I didn’t feel really in love with this soft toy. It just looked very weird to me. I somehow regretted buying this additional soft toy as I didn’t have much space at home. In summary, it didn’t really make me really happy (at first).

After a few days leaving the blue soft toy in the office, I started to miss its soft fur at home. I decided to bring it back home instead. I thought, I didn’t need any soft toys in the office. If I need a break, a cup of hot drink in the nicely decorated pantry would be sufficient to get my eyes a short break.

Since once a while I would bring this soft toy out from my bedroom and had it accompanying me playing my PS3 (the truth was: to be my arm rest). I started to like this blue alien thing. The fur was just so soft and I liked blue in the first place. After a few months, I re-watched the first movie from Channel 5. I also saw the big gigantic Stitch with Santa hat at Bugis Junction.

There was a period of time when I felt bored with my life style. I spent most of my evening watching this fluffy experiment movie series. I didn’t feel like watching normal movies as I needed something light to digest. Short enough for not causing me spending my midnight curiously watching the next episodes.

25 September 2011 remarks one year I have this soft toy. If I look back my one year, I am surprised… I feel like this blue alien thing has “haunted” me. I had abandoned my Winnie the Pooh soft toys. I didn’t really “treat” them as freak as this blue fluffy thing. I also had neglected my teddy bear that had accompanied my life for 13 years! Besides the soft toy, I started to collect everything related to this blue thing. Some of my friends even said that whenever they saw this blue fluffy thing around, they would remember me. Scary but it is true.

An advice was given to me earlier: climb the staircase step by step, it is impossible to jump to the top from the bottom.

I heard this from someone as well: When you are studying, you have the time and energy, but you don’t have the money. When you are working, you have the money and energy, but you don’t have the time. When you have retired, you have the money and time, but you don’t have the energy.

Basically, I have to enjoy whatever I see in the present. It doesn’t mean I don’t want to look at the future. The path is just too long that I can’t even see the end of it. Why should I stress on something that I have no idea what it will be like. Why should I spend so much time to think about the answer? I just do my best now and enjoy every single day I can

I heard this game will only be released early next year

I have some other PS3 games that I have yet to finish though, but only God of War 3 that has the recommended story line. I don’t think I can play games that have no story line daily. The problem with that GOW3 is that it is ridiculously hard for me T-T. Most of the time, I end my game with some level of depression as I can’t continue the game.

I do have PS Move and DDR mat, but playing by myself and taking most space in my living room for jumping by myself may not be fun. Especially after prolonged time of playing, I may enjoy the sore around my back, my thighs, my arms. Besides, there are no nice story line to follow…

Now I have my PS3 resting in the living room with my covered LCD TV… collecting dust…

I occasionally wiped them with wet wipes to keep them clean.

Any suggestion of game that I can play?

I am still contemplating whether I shall get a DSLR camera. Various questions were thrown to me:

1. Are you going to fully utilize it? I know that I am not a persistent person who keep one hobby for long time.

2. There was once my aunt caught me reviewing all those articles about camera when I was using her Apple Macbook. She told me it was an expensive hobby. She went through that time when she and her husband had so many SLRs 15 – 20 years ago. Shot various photos around the world. She admitted that it was really fun. But she just asked me one question, am I going to reach that level?

3. How about my compact camera that I bought last year?

4. Do I really need a DSLR?

As I read through the review articles about DSLR camera, I accidentally clicked on some images taken using compact camera posted on online galleries.

It surprised me that I had yet to utilize my EX1 well enough. There are still more to explore…

Yeah, I think it is somehow true. I had been complaining really a lot about my current life recently. I often exaggerated whatever small annoying things that I faced. I believe whoever heard my complaint would say that I had been repeating the same complaints over and over again. In fact, I should be thankful for what I had now!

Would that be a new resolution for year 2011? Be tolerant and express less (or no) complaint.

当我把我的衣服拿起来，她马上从洗衣机里面拿出很多的衣服。然后她说：“哎呀，我就是很混淆，忘了还有衣服在洗衣机里面！”

我又再微笑，一句话都没说。

我知道她骗我。

那个不是一件很大的事情，但是我只有不喜欢她一直用一样的 借口做小小烦人的事情：混淆。忘记锁门啦，忘记洗盘啦，需要睡觉的时候放着音乐让我不能够睡觉啦。她又一直想找机会告诉我：她是世界上最苦命的人，头很烦，心很乱， 突然会混淆， 需要人扶着她，要人一直听她的故事。

她以为说骗话人家不知道？她以为一直说有很多心事但是没做什么改变人家会可怜她？

我现在又知道她并没有事，只有要人家陪着她。没有想着别人也有很多事情要办。

反正很多人已经不理她。我也想着做一样的动作。朋友们都说如果我真的不能够忍她的性格，我可以讲出来。现在，我只有不要理她，看我的忍限 到哪里。我觉得她这样找朋友是很错的！
